The upcoming recall ballots in California are being questioned to their validity. In numerous counties, ballots appear to be printed not as specified in Calif. Election Code 13200 et sq. Below is an example of the ballot from Riverside County with the errors noted. Below the ballot are the errors noted in detail. These errors have apparently been brought to the attention of the Calif. Secretary of State and the Riverside County Registrar of Voters. The Election Integrity Project is also in receipt of the documents shown and is currently in consultation with their attorneys. Specifically, the documents allege that the misprinted ballots cannot be cast or counted per CA EC 13200. To make sure your vote is counted and until a legal remedy is obtained, it may be advisable to vote in person, NOT by mail. If you have already submitted your ballot, then it may be necessary to go to your polling location on Sept 14. and request that your mail-in-ballot be trashed and then vote in person.
