Depending on which state you reside, a misprinted ballot may not be counted. Such as in California where Election Code 13200 et seq, states that a ballot not printed as specified shall not be cast or counted. Voters in Riverside County recently received their mail-in ballots and already a number of print errors have been discovered. Here is an analysis of that ballot and the specific statutes that are violated. If you are outside California, those state’s law may be similar.
